Eurotrip: day one Berlin.

It is always comfy and funny wih people when there're doing great. But we often receive the evidence that you see the real character of a person when all is getting bad. We haven't spent much time in a country with very long words but we can say that Berlin is a very cool city. At least it does everything to prevent you of getting bored, all the rest is on you, darling. And even he (Berlin is a man definetely) received us with a bad weather, weather it’s still very beautiful and strange. It’s hard to imagine you’re in Europe – in Russia, in Bratislava, in the middle of American nowhere – but not in the capital of Germany.
Toma and Angela are riding a russian aerotrain.

We haven’t managed to visit a lot of places but we’d already seen huge synagogue with golden dome, memorial to holocaust victims, we’d been to Indian restaurant for the first time in our lives and  at the city's suburbs ...and even rejected a the entarance of the club..We re not wasting time as you see. Let our pictures talk, not words.

How not to go crazy alone in unknown city (Part 1)

When they say “the journey alone”  you can imagine a beardy fair-haired guy from Northern Europe or Canada. I’m sure you’ve met this type in the heart of your city or anywhere else: enthusiastic smile (because of the local exotic) on his weather-beaten face, a bottle of mineral water in the side pocket of his backpack next to guidebooks and a GPS-navigator in his hands. The dude has left his motherland definitely  with great expectations of any hardship. Guys like him are eager to go to Eastern Europe, through Russia by Trans-Siberian Railway, to Africa or to low developed countries of Asia and jungles of Latin America. Introduction  to the wicked morals of locals, poisoning by region’s cuisine, the scratches, the bites of rare bees, spines in the beard  are  just a part of the dude’s charm: it tempers the character, amuses and tickles the nerves. Some perverts can call it “a useful pleasure”.
What about me, I think travelling with no friends is a torture. But last 6 months I had to spent a lot of lonely hours (sometimes amusing, sometimes desperate) hell knows where and with hell knows whom.  I’ve visited the places that could make any lover of Slavic hardship REALLY jealous. But at least now I’ve got something to teach you, my little sociopathic home-bird.
